Our Day in Oak Glen

We got off to a late start, but that is not a problem. We've been to Oak Glen every year for awhile so we pretty much know where we're heading and what we want to do while we're there. The day turned out a little warmer than we liked, but not unbearable. And we were a little early for the leaf-changing beauty we normally see. It hasn't been very cold yet so the leaves are hanging around. And it was a little crowded...our secret getaway has become very popular.

In spite of all of the above we still had a great day. We tasted apples, we bought trinkets, we revelled in the autumnness of the outdoors. We explored and we came home tired but happy, full of apple cider floats and fresh air. The company was awesome. Oh, and I now have nice big Cameo apples in my fridge to last for a few days and several new magnets to add to my fridge collection!
